WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Provide complex technical application assistance to identify modified and engineered solutions based on customer specifications and application requirements
  • Issue complex quotes based on customer specifications, application requirements, costing, and manufacturability
  • Provide support for specific sales territories as a main contact
  • Lead key accounts which includes collaborating with multiple functional areas to resolve quality issues, proactively communicating with customers, and resolving conflicts to ensure customers' expectations are met
  • Lead special project assignments as required
  • Identify complex and custom components to assist customers in part replacements
  • Maintain a high level of performance by meeting team key performance indicator (KPI) goals
  • May process all incoming orders via fax, electronic, phone
  • Work with sales, marketing, production, shipping, and other operating functions regarding product, delivery or service matters
  • Lead scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed
  • Provide training/mentoring for Customer Service Reps and Application Specialists and Sales as the need arises

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ideally 5+ years of technical customer service or sales support preferably in a call center and/or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge in technical aspects of product as well as of product specifications and offerings
  • Skill to read and interpret product drawings
