Summary:
The IDS Specialist position will beprimarily responsible for IV admixture of Investigational Products (HD and non-HD)as well as will have responsibility for handling of investigational agents, formulary management, pyxis space and expiration management, ordering, shipping and receiving of investigational products, drug return management, drug dispensation, as well as face to face (monitoring visits), and electronic (e-mail) communications.
We're looking for an incredibly detail orientated, dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
Responsibilities:
- Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
- Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
- Repackages bulk medications.
- May be responsible for sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- PHAT (Pharmacy Technician) certification from State Board of Pharmacy.
- 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
Preferred:
- HD and non-HD sterile compounding experience.
- Investigational Drug Service experience.
