Payroll & HR Specialist (211150-14)

Seeking an accounting professional to join the team of a successful business in the industrial field. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions as well as performing some HR duties such as entering and processing timesheets.

The ideal candidate will have previous accounting and payroll experience.

Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm Location Kapolei, Oahu Pay $22 to $24 an hour Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily accounting functions including AP and AR.
  • Enter and process timesheets.
  • Process tax withholdings and file taxes.
  • Intake new employees and process new hire paperwork.
  • Assist with TDI and worker's comp filings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous accounting and payroll experience required.
  • Previous HR experience preferred.
  • Experience working with union employees a plus.
  • Advanced QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Analytical, detail oriented, and organized.
