Snr Production/Manufacturing Manager

Salary/bonus: Up to $160,000 basic plus bonus (potential further flex for ideal)

Location: South California

CSG are proudly and exclusively partnering a global innovation leader in the medical/hospital equipment and devices space, growing every day in the USA specifically and due to continued success and business and looking for an experienced Snr Production/Manufacturing Manager to lead and establish a new and exciting USA based manufacturing site.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced manager and someone who understands how to develop and deliver a highly quality and efficient lean manufacturing environment, as well as an understanding of product lead times, supply chain and logistics to ensure a seamless and high performing local manufacturer of high quality medical/hospital equipment.

This is an exciting role joining a business in growth mode, so logically over time this role will offer superb and fast paced career progression opportunities. This role will be reporting into the General Manager USA and will be seen as the most senior product/manufacturing profile within the North American business. You will manage a small team of 20 to begin with all within a brand new manufacturing facility, this will again naturally grow over time and I can and will discuss the finer details of this with interested/suitable applicants.

Required experience:

  • A relevant degree qualification in a relevant field of study, for example and limited to engineering (ideally biomedical), technology, mechatronics.
  • Extensive hands on experience in an on-site medical equipment and devices manufacturing environment
  • You must understand manufacturing standards, best practises, lean manufacturing methodologies and have the experience/ability to create and roll out strict and high quality manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality of manufacturing delivery
  • Proficient in ISO9001, ISO13485, FDA medical device-related regulations and standards
  • Familiar with FDA medical device-related business processes
  • Our ideal candidate will be a proven people manager
  • You must live in commutable distance to San Diego, S California
