As a Supervisory Physician (Deputy Director, CEPI), GS-0602-15, you will be:
Providing operational and program leadership to the Center and works with the Center and Division Directors, to ensure programmatic excellence, effective use of resources, and timely execution of major programs.
Planning and carrying out high-profile projects of priority for the Center.
Establishing and maintaining processes to ensure appropriate programmatic follow through, enhance program performance and maximize efficiency to the Center.
Serving as a Senior Medical Expert and Researcher for major subject matter/program areas of research conducted and supported by the Center.
Representing the Center to internal and external audiences as a recognized technical authority.
Representing CEPI at Senior Leadership Team meetings and other Agency external events in the absence or at the direction of the Director.
Reviewing and providing authoritative medical and scientific CEPI recommendations for Agency and Departmental documents.
