The Data Centers Network Architect is responsible for the design and health of Expeditors' network. As a member of Data Centers, the Network Architect will design and support Expeditors global and local networks and connections that are critical to the support of Expeditors branch infrastructure and global operations. The Network Architect leads the evolution of the Expeditors network, which spans more than 250 locations around the globe.

    This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent customer service skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements for network design Prior experience in the development and/or enhancement of large-scale enterprise WAN Prior experience in designing a global network with multiple data centers Prior experience in the development and deployment of SDWAN Prior experience with the design and implementation of wireless networks Extensive knowledge of Cisco routing & switching Strong knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, in a multi-site network Keen attention to detail

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Big-IP LTM/GTM deployments and configurations Experience with Windows and UNIX operating systems Experience with public and private cloud design and implementation Experience with third party vendor management Experience with implementation of network segmentation, including concepts such as zero trust CCIE and CCDE certifications or equivalent

Additional Information

Expected base salary: $165,000 to $240,000
