Telecommunications Network Specialist

CompTech Computer Technologies is in search of a Telecommunications Network Specialist to provide support for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This role involves overseeing and ensuring the technical reliability of both wired and wireless LAN operations, while also delivering telecom engineering insights to enhance the Local Area Network (LAN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • At least 2 years of experience in network operations or equivalent higher education/military background
  • Expertise in the design and management of telecommunications networks
  • Skilled in evaluating and architecting voice networks, LAN/WAN data networks, and wireless systems
  • Experience in the development, engineering, integration, and testing of hardware/software systems

Certification Requirements:

  • IAT-II Certification is mandatory: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH
  • Additional Certifications: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, among others

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Top Secret clearance is required
