Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor/Manager to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), open to working various shifts, and local to Orlando, Florida. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with production and quality control teams to address maintenance-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in the food industry or a similar field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Local to Orlando, Florida, or willing to relocate.
