Responsibilities:

  • Generate purchase orders from approved purchase requisitions
  • Submit purchase requisitions as needed
  • Work with outside vendors to confirm purchase orders, and make sure they are in a ready state for the receivers.
  • Change prices and quantities as necessary to match vendor pricing and availability
  • Analyze the open purchase order report
  • Address any critical part back orders with purchasing manager
  • Focus on process improvement and efficiency gains through standardization and automation
  • Assist the purchasing manager by requesting new material numbers from material master when needed
  • Other duties assigned

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma required; Bachelor s Degree preferred

    • Proficient using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

      The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the followingcompensation and benefits:

      • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental;
      • Paid Time Off: vacation, sick leave, and company observed holidays;
      • 401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
      • Base salary range: $22.75/hr

        For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, JBS and Pilgrim s is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
