Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to pediatric patients, including physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families about pediatric health issues and preventive care measures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant in pediatrics.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
