Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to pediatric patients, including physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families about pediatric health issues and preventive care measures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant in pediatrics.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
