We are looking for a Peer to Peer (P2P) Marketing Lead who is patient focused, collaborative, and motivated to join our US Rare Disease Organization, based in our US office in Atlanta, GA.

 

About the role

They will play a key role in shaping HCP strategy to ensure UCB is optimizing patient value for those struggling with the symptoms and impact of generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG).

Our US Rare Disease Organization is a culture-driven, collaborative group of highly motivated, well-intentioned individuals who are collectively looking to make an impact on the patients we serve.

The successful candidate will assist in building UCBâs leadership position in the gMG market, specifically leading the medical education and peer to peer marketing   

 

Who youâll work with

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across key UCB internal teams, including Field Sales, Planning and Operations, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Insights to Impact, and IT 
  • Be the face of the speaker bureau and liaison with speakers, sales team, and other internal stake holders to ensure consistency in policy and execution across UCB Peer to peer programming
  • Build and/or optimize infrastructure to support US peer to peer speakerâs bureau including managing interactions with agency partners, ensuring adherence to all internal policies, and managing all required compliance documentation
  • Drive insight gathering via market research, working with field and analytics team to better understand the market and optimize programs   

 

What youâll do

  • Define and lead the HCP Marketing strategy for medical education and peer to peer programming in gMG marketplace
  • Develop and lead strategy, content development, and logistical execution of all aspects of the US RDO speakers bureaus, including HCP and APP bureaus and disease education
  • Coordinate and own all promotional and logistical efforts for commercial activities at national and local HCP congresses, including exhibition booths, product theatres, and receptions, while working with congress organizers and colleagues to identify additional opportunities
  • Lead strategic development, execution, and implementation of medical education programs, e.g. Industry Symposia, launch broadcasts, KOL videos, etc.
  • Liaise and partner with the Thought Leader Liaison and Medical Science Liaison teams to ensure smooth coordination of all activities involving speakers
  • Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and success of key initiatives.  Drive internal analytics to monitor and optimize the effectiveness of engagement strategies
  • Build and support long-term initiatives that establish UCBâs deep commitment into the gMG market, resulting in a corporate reputation that is trusted by neurologists, patients, and other key stakeholders
  • Collaboratively manage content through the Review Committee process
  • Influence across the internal matrix to drive change and gain internal stakeholder support
  • Operate at the highest level of UCB compliance and professional standards.  Compliance is a part of how we operate within UCB.  Adherence to compliant behavior is an expectation at UCB and demonstrated by embracing ethical decision-making practices and guidelines in all aspects of our organization

 

Interested? For this role weâre looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Bachelorâs Degree in the health sciences, business/marketing, or related field
  • 7-9 years of experience in healthcare/pharmaceuticals with focus on HCP marketing or sales
  • Ability to interface and collaborate with a variety of external and internal partners in a highly professional manner, serving as the âfaceâ of the company at key conference and events
  • Demonstrated experience and success leading without authority across multidisciplinary and/or highly-matrixed teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging sales forces to execute tactics and accomplish key objectives to attain business goals.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and legal issues germane to commercial marketing
  • Solid speaking, writing, and budgeting skills. Ability to present to groups of all sizes, sometimes at short notice.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • This position will be required to travel (25%)
