Successful candidate would possess technical expertise in P&C insurance, strong analytical and communication skills.

The Senior Business Development Analyst would assume full ownership of providing descriptive analytics to various Divisions (Client Management, Corporate Underwriting, Pricing, Loss Control, Actuarial and Finance) using advanced SQL queries to extract, analyze, and distribute accurate data. The Senior Business Development Analyst would be fully responsible for the process to develop dashboards, easily digestible data visualizations and other reports to support a data driven client operation. The Senior Business Development Analyst will interface with executives and senior leaders across the organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the (re-)insurance sector or Investment banking with a Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such Power BI, Advanced SQL, Excel, PowerPoint Skills

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the US market and products is of advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think out new solutions ("outside of the box")
  • Ability to interpret financial statements along with a sound understanding of insurance risk underwriting and actuarial methods.
  • A self-starter and independent learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo.
  • Innovative and execution-driven entrepreneurial mind set combined with strong cooperation and communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities
