With thoughtfulness and care, we develop meaningful relationships with our employees and clients to ensure that both are empowered, making Anthurium an exciting place to work We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Household Manager / Personal Assistant who takes a hands-on approach to their work.
This is a full time role (50 hours / week) from 8AM-6PM with an hourly pay of $45-50.
This is an ON-SITE role located in the West Village.
Your main responsibilities will involve managing the families household staff and all personal assistant duties.
Proactively anticipating needs and resolving issues as they arise will be crucial.
We are looking for a mature, organized professional who can handle a wide range of responsibilities and ensure the smooth operation of the estates and staff.
Qualifications & Skills Experience as a household manager or personal assistant Highly organized; a lover of Excel spreadsheets and attention to detail Willingness to take on a wide array of tasks and ability to keep many plates spinning at once; the ability to prioritize and manage time wisely Highly effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate concisely Extremely personable and skilled at relationship building Ability to thrive and solve problems under pressure Forward thinking; ability to anticipate clients needs and adapt quickly Holds a valid driver's license MUST be comfortable being on-site 5 days a week if needed Responsibilities Manage entire household staff - act as a spokesperson for the clients on all matters, sometimes making administrative decisions and take action in the client's absence Act as a property manager overseeing the apartment and liaising with and/or hire other family staff, vendors, and contractors for various projects Act as Chief Problem Solver when household issues arise Assist with car related maintenance Coordinate projects by capturing timelines, strategies, and delivering progress updates Maintain a high level of confidentiality Manage furniture items- setup delivery for items, manage progress, oversee delivery and unpacking Assist with event planning Coordinate travel - both domestic and international Perform miscellaneous tasks such as managing ingoing/outgoing mail & returns, running errands, shopping for clothes and other needs, etc.
