Job Summary

Lambent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Household Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our home and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the household staff, including hiring, training, and supervising employees
  • Oversee the maintenance of household inventories, including supplies, equipment, and furniture
  • Develop and implement systems for managing household expenses, including budgeting and financial reporting
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for family members, including booking flights, hotels, and rental cars
  • Assist with party and event planning, including coordinating logistics and managing vendors
  • Manage miscellaneous projects, including household renovations and repairs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a competitive US college
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Household Manager or Personal Assistant
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staff and oversee household operations
  • Familiarity with task management software, such as Trello or Airtable
  • Some experience with childcare, including caring for young children
  • High degree of consistency, punctuality, and dedication to work role

Working Conditions

Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Competitive salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, plus health insurance
