    About Our Client

    I'm partnered with the CFO and CEO at a $30M manufacturer located near Skokie, IL. My client is in high growth mode and are looking to bring on a FP&A Manager to their business to implement projects and initiatives within varying levels of the business.

    The FP&A Manager will have the full support of the executive leadership team to pursue strategic process improvements within the business to maximize financial performance.

    The FP&A Manager will oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, financial reporting, financial analysis, and lead cross collaboration efforts with leaders across the business in procurement, supply chain, operations, marketing, R&D, etc.

    Job Description

  • Develop and manage the company's financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
Collaborate with department heads and senior management to establish financial goals, objectives, and strategies.Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and financial forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify trends, and assess business performance.Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational data to provide insights into business performance.Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and potential business initiatives to assess their financial impact and viability.Prepare and distribute regular management reports, dashboards, and financial presentations to communicate financial performance, trends, and insights.Monitor and analyze financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities.Provide financial support and analysis for strategic initiatives, business planning, and decision-making processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business opportunities, assess risks, and develop actionable recommendations.Participate in strategic planning sessions, investment reviews, and business performance reviews to drive continuous improvement and value creation.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize financial planning and analysis activities.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA is a plus)5+ years of experience in FinancePrevious FP&A work requiredReporting system experience (SAP, Oracle, PowerBI, etc.)Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience interacting with senior leadership
