In addition to the essential job duties, the position will also provide specific support to the group/function in which they are assigned.Essential Job Duties:
  • Assists with monthly closing procedures to guarantee timely reporting.
  • Maintains supporting records for all accounting activities.
  • Corresponds with team members regarding status of tasks assigned and other inquiries.
  • Cross trains in other areas within the Finance department.
  • Works on a variety of different accounting projects, as requested.
  • Technology group support related tasks:
    • Monitor Finance Board daily assigning tickets/follow up on open items.
    • Work on assigned service tickets.
    • Generate service invoices on a weekly basis.
    • Maintain/update customer records.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • BA/BS degree in accounting
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud (ERP Accounting software), preferred
  • Two (2) plus years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience with state sales tax, preferred
  • Proficient with computerized accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP function)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
