What you’ll do:

  • Liaise between finance and IT to maximize effectiveness of data sources and quality; designs and codes predictive and other mathematical analyses.
  • Lead development and production of cost, revenue, and utilization reporting, incorporating both internal and external benchmarks.
  • Develop predictive models and algorithms to assess and predict payment outcomes within health plan data.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analyses to identify anomalies, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of developed models and algorithms.
  • Provide oversight on model monitoring and refinement to adapt to changing business requirements and data patterns.
  • Oversee the documentation of methodologies, data sources, and assumptions to ensure transparency and reproducibility of analyses.
  • Present comprehensive reports on findings, model performance, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What you bring:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of spreadsheets and relational databases
    • Financial/accounting and statistical concepts as well
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Master’s degree preferred in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical subject highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SSRS, SSIS, and SQL highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data
  • High level of analytical ability necessary to identify, analyze and interpret healthcare trends and communicate actionable insights
  • Ability to compile, write and present high-quality oral and/or written presentations and reports to JHHC/JHM senior management, physician leadership, clients and oversight boards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information relevant to a project to senior management
