The Continuous Improvement Facilitator is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the ATS Business Model (ABM) within the global services organizations, to drive improvement in our processes and execution in support of profitable growth for ATS. Additionally, will serve as a centralized resource to ensure overall organizational alignment and advancement towards the objectives of the organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

ATS Business Model (ABM) Leadership: 

  • Guiding and coaching teams in developing skills that align with the ABM strategy and deployment goals. 
  • Coaching and effectively building support for corporate requirements while facilitating an integrated plan that delivers both the needed results and the growth in capability (skills and culture) for sustaining continuous improvement. 
  • Ensuring that ABM training, tools, assessments, and resources are being utilized appropriately and effectively by employees through formal and informal training and coaching. 
  • Developing and executing communication plans to support the rollout and education on continuous improvements and best practices. 
  • Lead or coach focused improvement activities and teams to improve results that link to ATS’s 8 value drivers. 
  • Utilizing and facilitating Value Stream Mapping, process flow charts and other ABM tools to recommend and facilitate modifications in workflow. 
  • Facilitating and co-facilitating various continuous improvement (CI) related workshops and training initiatives (Problem Solving and Kaizen). 
  • Working across disciplines to remove barriers and streamline processes by understanding their requirements. 
  • Drive ever-improving results by leveraging ATS Business Model (ABM) tools, influencing skills, and change management process. 
  • Directly provide formal and informal ABM training and coaching. 
  • Drive ABM culture and build ABM excellence within the organization within the first 12 months.  
  • Work collaboratively with regional and local division ABM champions to leverage SME knowledge and best practices. 
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct. 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience as a continuous improvement facilitator. 
  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a leadership perspective. 
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement a continuous improvement roadmap.  
  • Superior communications skills including being able to communicate to all levels of the organization across a variety of geographies including those where English is not their primary language. 
  • Familiarity with various operational and commercial process and tools (eg. Sales, order processing, distributor management, CRM, ERP). 
  • Hands-on experience using various continuous improvement methodology (Problem Solving, Kaizen, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Lean, statistical analysis). 
  • Understanding and demonstrated use of change management methodology. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, written, and analytical skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work both efficiently and effectively under varying conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
