Key Responsibilities: Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

Analyst – Aircraft Records is responsible for review and implementation of procedures and controls established within department or responsible functional group (or fleet type), in accordance with FAA, GMM and department DOP regulations, policies and procedures. Responsible for evaluating and controlling the overall mainframe forecast configuration through initial program establishment, updates, and audits to ensure fidelity across multiple teams within the department. Employing advanced problem solving skills, Records expertise, and project management skills, the Sr. Analyst supports various Tech Ops departments and initiatives driving data integrity and enterprise safety and regulatory compliance. Engaging in innovative and strategic improvement functions within the department to mitigate risk and drive efficiencies and accuracy of the mainframe tracking system, maintenance compliance records and status reports; ensuring they are maintained in accordance with the FAA, corporate and department retention policies. 

  • Driving cross-functionality to audit, evaluate, and initialize or revise future maintenance mainframe task and time limit forecast, for applicable airframe, assembly and/or component specifications (or fleet types), based upon written instructions received from
  • Engineering and/or Mx Programs across multiple teams within the Records department
  • Continuously synthesize processes and compliance methods in accordance with department policies and procedures to drive optimization, and minimize risk in all processes that result in the timely receipt, accountability, audit and retention of maintenance compliance records (paper/electronic) as applicable to assigned function and/or fleet type airframes, engines, and/or components
  • Evaluate and interpret records and status reports related to recurring inspections, deferrals, audits and special projects (i.e. aircraft exits, FAA audits, data migrations, external FAA/Legal/Other department requests, etc) for functional or fleet specific status reports and/or maintenance compliance records
  • Employ superior trouble-shooting and analytical problem solving skills to optimize database system integrity at configuration level, and maintain and monitor the configuration, condition and maintenance/inspection status of the actual aircraft, assemblies and components.
  • Coordinate with other departments or working together groups on Tech Ops projects and initiatives for systemic, innovative, enterprise changing solutions as an Aircraft Records subject matter expert

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • High school diploma
  • 3 years of proven airline maintenance analytical recordkeeping or similar experience
  • Applicable hands-on knowledge and experience applying FAA records and recordkeeping regulations required
  • Strong and demonstrated analytical problem solving skills required
  • Demonstrated cross-functionality and multi-discipline skills, working independently and within/between work groups is required
  • Self-starter, able to multi-task and lead changing priorities in accordance with operational needs to optimize processes and responses
  • Experience with company maintenance databases and tracking systems required, including inter-departmental with internal and external customers
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office specifically WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project leadership, including inter-departmental initiatives
  • Shown outstanding professional oral and written communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
