We are currently seeking a ACAS Software Management (SME III) to join our team in Suffolk, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Overview: 

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Navy Assured Compliance Assessment System (ACAS) collection system server and systems configurations (hardware and software) to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Administers server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, and performs systems monitoring.
  • Consults on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systems’ security and sustainability.
  • Manage and supervise Watch Floor Shift Operations, and liaise with Governmental representatives as required.
  • Facilitate delivery of ESS SME tracking / artifacts / documentation to the ESS Overarching Project Management / Team Lead or his / her designated representative.

 

Job Duties: 

  • Implement ACAS installation and configuration in accordance with Navy TTPs/SOPs.
  • Manage and maintain ACAS user management in accordance with Navy TTPs/SOPs.
  • Manage and maintain scan management in accordance with Navy TTPs/SOPs.
  • Manage plug-ins for security centers and make available for subordinate units.
  • Import asset list in accordance with Navy TTPs/SOPs.
  • Responsible for assisting SC Administrators with applying patches, ACAS update, Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and plugins.
  • Development of reports that support environment compliance and implementation status.
  • Maintain ACAS date feed, via APS to DISA (Tier I).
  • Responsible to ensure SC roll updates as required.
  • Provide SME level input\support for SC Administrators and ESS Support Administrators.
  • Monitor and maintain ESS connection to Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring – Navy (CMRS-N).
  • Provide SME level input for APS.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Tenable vulnerability scanners or have passed Tenable Certified Security Center Expert certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with understanding Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Active Top Secret clearance required 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Required level of effort for an ACAS Software Management SME III: maintain a 24/7/365 helpdesk consisting of multiple Day, Evening, Midnight and Weekend Shifts.
