A candidate for this position should be able to effectively manage personnel performance, champion change, influence, and guide, be a company advocate, and make sound decisions in the absence of clear direction or written guidelines. Must have proven leadership capabilities, demonstrated team-building abilities, and strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive attitude within the department. Prior supervisory experience is desirable.
Roles & Responsibilities• Drive GoalZero performance in occupational safety, process safety, and environmental compliance.
• Ensures site's compliance with LyondellBasell Operational Excellence Standards and site procedures.
• Lead and develop hourly personnel through coaching, goal setting, feedback, and assignments.
• Ensure production of quality product in a safe and reliable manner.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to plan and execute maintenance repairs that will affect production personnel and production schedules.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to supervise any contractors used on site ensuring contractor observation of LyondellBasell safety policies and work standards
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing process
• Strong operations and mechanical background
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Prior supervisory experience (desirable but not required)
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Demonstrated computer capabilities in Microsoft Office and knowledge of computer based systems such as SAP and Intelex
• Knowledge of safety systems, policies, and procedures (OSHA and regulatory requirements)
• Knowledge of environmental systems, policies, and procedures
• Build Partnerships - Developing and leveraging relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve results with an emphasis on relationship building, fostering trust, and working collaboratively.
