As the Sr. Sales Manager at Embassy Suites San Rafael Marin County, your primary responsibility will be to strategize, generate, and develop sales from assigned territories and segments. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing and business teams to maximize revenue for the hotel. Your focus will be on securing monthly and annual group business and selling meeting space. This role will have a focus on association, corporate, and negotiated rates. This role offers flexibility, as you can choose to work on-site or remotely (if not in the local area), with relocation options available if needed.Your Key Responsibilities

Develop strategies and sales plans to activate, cultivate, and maximize revenues from assigned territories and segments. Implement, execute, and modify sales plans to meet and exceed revenue and market share goals. Maintain a proactive solicitation and sales approach to achieve optimal results. Stay up-to-date with market trends, demand generators, and similar cities. Manage relationships, partnerships, and customer satisfaction with assigned territory accounts. Develop and target group markets including Association, Corporate, and more. RequirementsRequirements include basic reading, writing and math skills. Excel, word and outlook experience. When needed, may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly required to talk, hear and interact with guests and potential clients, stand and use hands to, type, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to walk, sit and reach with hands and arms. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time. Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred. 5+ years of hotel sales experience or employment in a related position or field. 2+ years experience in a Senior role.
