We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Quality Engineer who will be designing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products.

Job Title: Sr. Quality Engineer Location: Greensboro, NC 27405 - Onsite Contract Duration: 12 months or longer Pay: $41.99/hour

Note: Due to the nature of work all candidates must be US Citizens. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire, but must be obtainable within a reasonable period of time as determined by program requirements.

Designing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products, the Senior Quality Engineer will have the opportunity to help our nation's heroes make a true impact. You'll be the owner of the quality function in one or more production shops and design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.

Duties and Tasks:
Designs, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary Reviews Documents/Drawings/Instructions for conformance to requirements Provides resolution to problems of moderate scope Compares defects against standards and recommends dispositions, and verifies implementation of rework Collects, organizes and analyzes project data, generates and/or reviews metrics Performs audits, assigns corrective action, and verifies implementation Participates in project reviews and meetings including technical design reviews, technical peer reviews Verifies compliance to defined requirements Witnesses and or monitors test activities Receives instructions from immediate supervisor Contact with multiple work groups Works under general supervision Interfaces with various engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, and other quality personnel Some contact with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality departments Works as an individual technical contributor on one or multiple projects Participates as an active member of the project team What you'll experience: Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secret A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's next Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discovered What you bring to the table: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree.
