Job Highlights

 

 $19.70 - $25.61 per hour

 

The Supervisor of Experience role is responsible for modeling first class customer service and ensuring that every customer has a unique and memorable shopping experience. You will lead with urgency and passion while focusing on creating a welcoming and engaging environment that fosters customer loyalty and drives sales. Your role is to understand and anticipate customer needs, resolve issues that arise, and continuously improve the overall shopping experience. The Supervisor of Experience serves as a coach and mentor to other teammates and keyholders. 

 

We count on our Supervisor of Experience to:
•    Train and model first-class customer service – someone who loves helping customers and loves to train their team to do the same.
•    Implement initiatives to personalize the shopping experience and build customer relationships and drive brand connection.
•    Organize and oversee in-store events, promotions, and activities to engage customers and drive traffic.
•    Provides customers with detailed storytelling about Under Armour product and brand initiatives. 
•    Supports in training and coaching teammates to provide an energetic experience unique to Under Armour.
•    Lead and develop sales keyholders.
•    Uses advanced functional expertise to drive sales and customer loyalty.
•    Observe athlete shopping behaviors and actively listen and learn to provide feedback to corporate partners.
•    Promote UA Rewards to build customer base and long-term athlete relationships.
•    Champion fitting room experience training and management of CRAVE Retail Fitting Room technology.
•    Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback on coaching skills, job expectations, and Core Competencies through real-time coaching, scheduled touch-bases, individual development planning and the performance review process. 
•    Drive teammate engagement by recognizing and rewarding teammates for their outstanding contributions. 

 

To be considered for this role, you must meet these minimum requirements: 
•    At least 18 years old 
•    High school degree or equivalent
•    1 year experience in a retail environment 
•    Available to work 40 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays  
•    Comfortable and/or willing to learn technology (such as hand-held and mobile devices)
•    Strong communication skills
•    Can stand, lift, walk, bend and lift cartons weighing up to 25 lbs. during each work shift with or without an accommodation

 

You’ll be considered a top candidate if you also have:

Additional Responsibilities

Sales & Omni
•    Supports in achieving store financial targets and reaching KPI’s
•    Provides customers with detailed knowledge on company products and initiatives
•    Elevate and lead peak traffic hours during events, holidays, and key periods 
•    Supports customers in ordering options unavailable in store


Brand image & Customer Experience
•    Listens and learns to become an expert on Under Armour product and initiatives. Has a unique ability to craft the story in a compelling way to our customers and teammates. 
•    Oversees special events/experiences, whether that’s with entire local sports team visiting after playing on our track and field. Or special VIP stopping in to pick out their favorite looks. 
•    Partners closely with Field Marketing, Store Ops, and our VIP departments.
•    Builds partnerships in the local community through grassroots initiatives.  
•    Support in store vendors and experiences unique to the location. 

Retail Operations
•    Train and lead teammates in the execution of daily operations aligning with UA process and policies.
•    Partner with store leadership to maintain store standards. 
•    Adhere to asset protection policies and advise store leadership of unusual internal or external activity.
•    Communicate teammates accidents/injuries to store leadership immediately.

Leadership & Team Collaboration
•    Lead role in hiring, training developing and coaching sales keyholders and teammates on brand, product and in store experience. 
•    Coach teammates when expectations are not being met
•    Communicate clear priorities, sales and KPI targets to sales teammates to achieve target 
•    Maintain and support store safety standards and communicate concerns to store leadership.
•    Support UA strategies to drive sales and operations; observe sales trends and advise store leadership of opportunities.
•    Support store and regional leadership teams and local HR during onboarding and continuous training

Qualifications


•    Proven experience in a customer service or retail management role.
•    Strong customer-centric mindset and passion for delivering exceptional service.
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
•    Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret customer feedback and metrics.
•    Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.
•    Fluent in local language and basic verbal English skills
•    Proficient in use of computers and other technology
•    Adjusts to new ideas/methods of working
•    Knowledge and understanding of employment laws including compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
•    Advanced selling experience and comprehensive industry understanding
•    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends
 

Requirements
  • Minimum one year experience in a sports/ apparel & footwear retail environment
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • High School education or equivalent

Physical Requirements

•    Ability to stand, lift, walk, reach, push, pull, bend and lift cartons weighing up to 25 lbs. during each work shift with or without an accommodation
•    Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time with short breaks
•    Ability to freely access all areas of the store; including the selling floor, stock and register area
