You Will:

  • Own the quality: Design and execute comprehensive test plans for SDKs and payment terminals, ensuring robust functionality and performance across devices and platforms.
  • Test the ecosystem: Validate SDK integrations with merchant applications and backend systems, ensuring seamless communication and a frictionless user experience.
  • Simulate the real world: Rigorously test payment terminal hardware and software under real-world conditions, including various card interactions and payment methods.
  • Ensure API Reliability: Validate the functionality and performance of our back-end APIs against our mobile applications and SDKs
  • Automate and streamline: Develop automated tests and CI/CD pipelines to optimize testing efficiency and accelerate high-quality releases.
  • Collaborate and communicate: Partner closely with cross-functional teams, providing expert feedback and ensuring alignment on quality standards.

You Have:

  • Proven experience: 2+ years of experience in mobile application or SDK testing, demonstrating a strong understanding of Android and iOS platforms.
  • Testing expertise: A solid grasp of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking processes.
  • Mobile proficiency: Hands-on experience with mobile devices, emulators, and simulators.
  • API testing experience: Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs and understanding of API tools (Potman, Terminal Testing Tools)
  • Scripting or programming knowledge: Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Payments industry knowledge: (Bonus) Experience with payment terminals or POS systems provides valuable insights into our unique use cases and challenges.

Base Salary Range: $135,000/yr to $165,000/yr + equity + benefits


Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in San Francisco, California. Individual pay is determined by work location, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
