Medical Surgical Technician - Ambulatory Care Network - Weill Cornell

Demonstrate excellence when expertise and superior service makes all the difference. Be the eyes and ears of an award-winning nursing department. Collaborate with nurses to raise the bar of patient care and Put Patients First. Take the initiative and balance the perfect blend of patient care and clinical practices. Bring the best in care and caring, all while providing quality phlebotomy, point-of-care HIV and HCV testing, EKG, vital signs monitoring, and assisting with general unit activities. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment in our Ambulatory Care Network. This specific position will support outstanding medical care on a mobile medical unit (MMU) that seeks to support communities through the provision of sexual health and related medical services.

The schedule for this day position is Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Preferred Criteria
  • Medical Assistant certification
  • Professional experience in an outpatient setting
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program

  • High School diploma or GED
