Job Description:

The Senior Director of PORTFOLIO & ACCESS MARKETING is a key leadership role within the Oncology Commercial team. The position will report to the Senior Vice President & Franchise Head, Oncology Business Unit and will be a member of the Oncology Business Unit leadership team. The successful candidate will lead and be responsible for the overall sales performance and marketing of PORTFOLIO & ACCESS MARKETING.

Leadership skills and a proven track record of building and executing strategic plans in collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners will be critical in this role. The ability to work closely with each of the US Oncology Marketing Teams to align on short-term and long-term commercial strategies will be important for success. This role will also work cross functionally to help bring programs and resources to fruition in support of the Oncology BU.

Main Responsibilities & Job Expectations

Identification of cross brand / portfolio synergies:Work closely with the Marketing Teams and cross-functional partners to:Identify cross-brand opportunitiesDevelop IPSEN / Oncology BU solutions for customersIdentify opportunities for external, promotional collaboration; bring these opportunities to fruitionPromote seamless cross-functional collaborationEnhance the way IPSEN Oncology goes to marketComplement the work of each team / function to improve customer / market offeringsBusiness Analytics:Review and enhance performance tracking dashboardLead forecast development for financial reviewsEnsure access to analytics that support brand strategyLeverage analytics to fine tune brand strategyLead monitoring gross and net sales: conducting channel and payer assessments in line with managed markets strategy to ensure brand contributions are in line with expectationsLead account planning projects:Set up system to track progress and performance via CRM systems for focused accountsEnsure execution excellence and cross functional effortsLead the integration of any new asset(s) to oncology BUWork with the external organisation to integrate any new asset into Ipsen & the Oncology BULead the planning and organization of sales conferenceFor PORTFOLIO & ACCESS MARKETING, both National and Regional meetingsPrepare for senior management visits and presentations

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent, MBA preferred

Essential Experience:

Biopharma commercial leadership experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence others.Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to positively connect across multiple stakeholders, including experience of working with senior leaders across the US and in multiple time zones.Demonstrated consistent track record of success and delivering strong results.Ideally, significant experience in, and knowledge of oncology and, or hematology.Pharmaceutical sales and/or sales management experience.Effective profit and loss (P&L) management experience.Excellent analytical, skills and understanding of business analytics tools.A track record of successful projects delivery and positive performance results.Excellent communication and presentation skills to interface with both internal and external stakeholders, cross-functional partners, alliance partners, and senior management.Working within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives.Willingness/ability to travel domestically. International travel may be required.

Desirable Experience:

Proven experience in pharmaceutical marketing, preferably in oncology.Launch experience of a pharmaceutical product, including foundational understanding of market access in home and / or other markets.Experience of working with customer relationship management (CRM) system, e.g. VeevaSocial and digital media experience.
