Great American Risk Solutions is seeking a Financial Analysis Specialist to join the finance team This position will sit in our Cincinnati office and will be on a hybrid schedule.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Develop financial models to determine effect of new business opportunities, capitalized expenditures, market conditions, or reinsurance strategy Support business unit's annual budget and planning process. Involving forecasting premium, expenses, staffing levels, and operating metrics. Conducts complex financial analysis involving monthly cost and profitability performance Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Develop analytical tools to support management in decision making. Such as sensitivity and scenario analysis Provides technical advice to lower-level positions and other functional areas. May lead the work of others (mentors, prioritizes, delegates and reviews assignments). Special financial projects or studies for management
Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Field of Study: Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
Experience: Generally, 5 to 8 years of related experience including 2 to 3 years in the insurance industry. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or Master's in Business Administration (MBA) and insurance related certifications (Program in General Insurance (INS), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), etc.) preferred.
