Develop eAxle components and systems for battery electric vehicles (BEV) on component and system level. Responsible for developing eAxle Components and systems including Product Specification, Concept, Design, Packaging, DFMEA/DVP, Tolerance Calculations, Simulations, Prototype Assy, Testing, and Documentation. Collaborate globally on development of hardware components with colleagues. Collaborate with colleagues inside and outside of the engineering team to release eAxle components and systems to production. Manage component suppliers. Conduct and thoroughly document project work, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and review with management. Create project plans and timelines and assist management with defining budget requirements. Promptly resolve plant issues, field problems, and customer requests. Lead cross-functional activities with regional and global counterparts in engineering, quality, manufacturing, sales, purchasing, and supplier teams. Communicate effectively and maintain professional/social interaction in a multi-cultural and international environment. Improve knowledge and skills through training actively identify areas of potential self-improvement and alert management of opportunities for training. Generate and implement ideas to continuously improve the work environment, systems, tools, and processes as well as product cost and quality. Maintain daily record of work hours by project. Perform other activities as necessary and/or assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering, and 5 years of experience in job offered or related. Must have experience in Mechanical and Thermomechanical Hardware Development; Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) systems and components; eAxle and Transmission Systems; and global product release system and training.
