Company Description
Take a seat on the Xplor rocketship and join us as a Product Manager to help people succeed worldwide.
Xplor Technologies is a global platform integrating SaaS solutions, embedded payments, and Commerce Accelerating Technologies to help businesses succeed. Xplor provides enterprise-grade SaaS solutions for businesses in “everyday life” verticals: Childcare & Education; Fitness & Wellbeing, Field Services and Personal Services – and a global cloud-based payment processing platform.
We’re a global team of builders, listeners and problem-solvers who are relentlessly focused on making life simple, so our customers can get back to growing their business, engaging consumers and doing what they love.
Job Description
You’ll join our Xplor Pay vertical and the team that develops a complete range of payments solutions including point-of-sale, ecommerce, mobile, in-app, recurring billing, e-invoicing, and auto-reconciliation. Our cloud-based solutions allow for seamless, secure processing and help our customers increase revenue, so they become more profitable.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Product Manager to join a growing Product organization In this role, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and a broad group of internal teams to set and drive the product roadmap, features, enhancements, and user experience vision across our payment acceptance platform. This includes deep focus on areas such as card-not-present acceptance, gateway capabilities, and integrated product solutions. You will help guide the company’s Integrated Payments product strategy and short- and long-term strategic plans, which focus on Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and other SaaS and technology providers that seek to integrate our commerce functionality into their own applications.
To thrive in this role, you will need to take ownership of discovery processes gathering business, customer, and system requirements, developing a deep understanding of pain points, and designing solutions to meet those needs that can then be translated to our development teams for execution and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem and the transaction lifecycle, independent software vendors, payment technology integration, and have experience with agile methodologies. Our Product Managers work with technical teams as a critical conduit in conveying business objectives, vision and expected outcomes sprint-by-sprint.
Essential responsibilities to succeed in this role include:
Product Strategy
- Become a recognized subject matter expert on the functions and uses of your platform including payment acceptance capabilities, the gateway and connected solutions, integrated solutions, merchant transaction-related reporting, and account maintenance functionality.
- Set, drive, and socialize the product roadmap and backlogs, prioritizing work to deliver the right business value at the right time.
- Facilitate delivery of the product strategy and roadmap for your platform in collaboration with the US Payments product teams, technology, and internal stakeholders to meet Xplor’s enterprise payments objectives.
- Continuously identify, quantify, and prioritize opportunities to eliminate manual operational tasks to improve workflow and efficiency, particularly on issues that pose financial risk to the organization.
Product Delivery
- Facilitate discovery sessions with business stakeholders and other end users to clearly understand problem spaces, identifying and documenting pertinent business use cases, in addition to leveraging data analytics and market trends to develop thorough and concise requirements.
- Create supporting materials such as workflow diagrams and UI wireframes to effectively communicate business objectives, concepts, requirements, and acceptance criteria to a technical development team ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of solutions.
- Gather and search technical specifications, payment network documents, bulletins, and data sets to find important information that translates to requirements or supports research and troubleshooting activities.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily standups, refinement, and sprint planning.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing as a quality gate, confirming features and functionality meet expectations.
- Be a change management advocate, planning for releases with the GTM team, creating internal product release notes/documentation, and educating key business stakeholders on new functionality.
Stakeholder Management
- Bridge technical and business worlds as you forge strong and productive relationships with stakeholders across Engineering, Partner Development, Integrations, Risk, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Experience to understand their needs and pain points.
- Serve as a key liaison between the business and technology, setting critical business context for agile teams, informing backlog prioritization, monitoring deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness, and keeping teams aligned through collaboration and transparency.
- The average base salary pay range for this position is $125,000 to $132,000
- Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience with product management, product development or related roles, ideally with experience in the payments and/or fintech spaces
- Demonstrated success leading product and/or development strategies, defining, documenting, developing, or launching successful platform capabilities and products
- Experience working with APIs, front-end and back-end architecture, and UX, within regulated industries, adhering to card brand, legal, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Able to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to make and explain decisions while managing multiple initiatives at different stages, prioritizing effectively, and managing time wisely to achieve objectives.
- Experience driving priorities and collaboration cross-functionally.
