Establish new large-scale businesses in the field of industry with a focus on grid scale energy storage, hydrogen and on/off road applications. Bring the voice of the customer back to the organization and ensure the right solution/support/strategy to win is defined and executed. Manage and grow existing accounts and seek new acquisition opportunities in the field of power electronics. Identify and/or trigger make or buy decisions of customers and enable fast growth as a strategic partner. Support and contribute with defining the “Go To Market” strategy that delivers the best value and experience to our customers. This role is responsible for the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification and development, thru proposal generation or quoting and closing which includes commercial Terms and Conditions and Non-disclosure agreements negotiations when applicable.
Job Responsibilities- Accountable for understanding the key markets, customers, and opportunities in order to identify and pursue large customers, new acquisition opportunities and joint development projects in the field of power electronics.
- Accountable for front line business development, fueling growth at primarily new large and strategic important customers; must understand customer behavior, goals, OPEX and CAPEX strategies.
- Manage and grow existing accounts through market insights, understanding of competitor landscape, and leveraging of Semikron Danfoss core capabilities.
- Seek out new acquisition opportunities and support the development of associated business cases to drive sound decision making within the business
- Establish strong cooperation between customers, Semikron Danfoss and other Danfoss group entities to secure long term partnerships
- Own key relationships and act as main liaison between the organization and key customers by building trust and confidence with both.
- Lead acquisition project teams to meet agreed business case objectives
- Develop and deliver solutions using available organizational resources tailored to solutions that address customer’s needs.
- Drive the implementation of organizational objectives through strong networking within the division, company and beyond
- Develop a regional growth strategy based on financial gain, organizational objectives, and customer satisfaction
- Articulate strong commercial and technical proposals that speak the language of the customers’ business and pain points.
- Convert customer/market leads into real prospects with an ability to navigate customers’ commercial and technical infrastructure.
- Identify and develop key stakeholder engagement.
- Utilize and deploy all available tools, training, and functional expertise to optimize chances of success.
- Translate customer business and application needs into Danfoss solutions.
- Provide updates into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for good forecasting measures.
- Drive the Industry needs first with existing products but also drive to fill product gaps.
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years' experience selling to end users and/or OEMs in power electronics
- Minimum 5 years' experience of leadership (direct or indirect)
- Familiar with Semikron Danfoss systems and processes
- In-depth knowledge of the markets renewable energies (wind, solar), energy storage, hydrogen production, application-specific inverters/converters, EV fast charging, and power quality
-Comprehensive product knowledge of intelligent power modules (IPM), custom/application-specific power electronic assemblies, and traction inverters for medium-power trucks, busses, and off-road vehicles
