We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Population Health Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, public health, and healthcare systems. This role involves analyzing health data to identify trends, evaluate interventions, and support strategic decision-making aimed at improving population health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret health data from various sources to identify trends, disparities, and outcomes in population health.
  • Assess the effectiveness of health programs and interventions, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and policy development.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and participate in initiatives to enhance health outcomes and service delivery.
  • Translate clinical team needs into analytic deliverables, including reports, dashboard requirements, and analytics models.
  • Translate analytical insights into practical recommendations for clinical strategies, care delivery models, and workflows for leadership.
  • Assist in the development and execution of clinical strategies that align with the organization's population health goals.
  • Work closely with clinical leadership to identify patient- and population-level opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of population health programs, strategy, and initiatives while recommending improvements.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure that clinical insights are accurately reflected in data analysis and that analytical outcomes are relevant to clinical needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a healthcare or public health setting.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and findings to diverse audiences.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Salary Range: Minimum 43.50 per hour - Maximum 69.60 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
