Duties

The Financial Management Specialist oversees tasks concerning accounts receivable, revenue forecasting, budget supervision and implementation, as well as funds management and transfer coordination.

In this position, you will:
Help in compiling cost analyses and reports for specific projects and activities intended for senior management review. Oversee and monitor fund balances in comparison to receivables, ensuring precise and suitable fund transfers. Contribute insights to the development of the organization's annual operating budget and ensure its effective management throughout the fiscal year.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal Service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as:
Utilizing budget principles and concepts while executing diverse financial and budget-related tasks. Overseeing all facets of accounts receivable management; AND Monitoring and appropriately allocating Federal and Trust funds, as well as scrutinizing revenue projections based on booking data within the data system.
OR

A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field of study such as business administration.

OR

3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a graduate degree in a field of study such as business administration.
