As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Procurement Manager to join our team. This role is essential in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient procurement of goods, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement processes within the supply chain. This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that goods and services are procured in a cost-effective and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and supply chain needs. Ensure procurement activities are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with company policies.

Supplier Relations: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish contracts and secure favorable terms. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality service and timely delivery.

Inventory and Demand Planning: Collaborate with demand planning and inventory management teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels. Monitor stock levels and adjust procurement plans to prevent shortages or excess inventory.

Cost Management: Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions. Seek opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured goods and services meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and enforce quality control measures and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve procurement processes and supply chain operations. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment between procurement activities and overall business objectives. Provide support and guidance on procurement-related issues.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, cost savings, and other key metrics. Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master s degree or relevant certifications (e.G., CPSM, CPP) is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a proven track record of managing supplier relationships and optimizing procurement processes.

Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, procurement best practices, and relevant industry regulations.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
