Job summary:
Provide friendly service and an upscale experience for guests to include waiting on tables, ensure guest's needs are promptly, efficiently met.

Reaching (overhead/extension): Constantly. Reach overheard supplies. Serve guests and retrieve hot/cold plates at arm’s length extension. Handling/grasping: Constantly. Set full plates and glasses at tables, carry trays and supplies. Fingering/feeling: Frequently. Write orders, operate Micros machine, fold napkins. Pushing/pulling: Occasionally. Move chairs and tables. Average weight: 10 lbs. force. Maximum weight 20 lbs. force. Lifting/carrying: Constantly. Carry full trays of food and beverage; carry supplies. Average weight: 20 lbs. Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions. Exposure to various hazardous chemicals. Exposure to food items and beverages.DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
Essential:
Provide warm and friendly service Delivery of beverages to guests Follow TABC law. Promotes and up-sells liquor and food. Must be completely familiar with all the different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware and garnishes. Follows guidelines established in regard to age identification for suspected minors and when dealing with an intoxicated customer. Basics: Attend required meetings. Keep work areas clean and organized. Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees. Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions. Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor.Qualifications:
Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred. Communicates effectively with others. Works productively with a team. Effective multitasking skills. Composure and patience under pressure. Skilled in working with multiple computer programs. TABC and Food Handler Certifications.BENEFITS:
