As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client's IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Develop and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the business needs, focusing on scalability, security, and reliability.
- Cloud Management: Manage and optimize cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring cost efficiency and high performance.
- Network Architecture: Design, deploy, and maintain robust network solutions, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- System Integration: Work with software development teams to integrate new applications into the existing infrastructure seamlessly.
- Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Establish monitoring protocols to ensure system performance and availability, and proactively address any issues that arise.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other IT professionals to share knowledge and improve processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Solid knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
