About the Team
As a member of our diverse and skilled North America Enterprise Architect team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed. Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team also sits at the exciting intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business.About the Role
This is your chance to engage in strategic conversations and demonstrate the value of next-generation cloud-based Workday solutions to US Federal government customers in the United States. You will partner with our Sales organization as well as Presales Solution Consultants to sell Enterprise Management software to new and existing Federal customers. We focus on how Workday acts as a key enabler of change within a customer's environment, allowing IT leaders to support the needs of their business stakeholders.
You will use presentations, demonstrations, workshops and proposals as tools to help you produce solutions that combine Workday's applications and platform, as well as third-party technology, to drive improved business outcomes for your customers. Along the way, you will become a trusted advisor to our Federal clients and to your sales peers. About You
Basic Qualifications:
Principal, Solution Architect
10+ years of enterprise software, Presales, or value-based selling experience in the Federal Market; or 15+ years of working with enterprise business applications in a Federal IT setting
Senior, Solution Architect
7+ years of enterprise software, Presales, or value-based selling experience in the Federal Market; or 10+ years of working with enterprise business applications in a Federal IT setting
Other Qualifications:
Existing knowledge of Workday application architecture is beneficial
Existing knowledge of Federal Human Resource Management Technologies is beneficial
Understanding of the Enterprise Solutions, Procurement and Processes in one or many Federal verticals
Working knowledge of Federal information security frameworks, security standards and guidelines
Comprehensive security background covering encryption technologies, network architectures, communications security, SAML (single sign-on), oAuth and application level access methods
Experience with data integration, business intelligence, and/or analytics tools
Familiarity with Web service integration standards such as WSDL, SOAP, UDDI and JSON
Software as a Service work experience and/or knowledge of the delivery model and associated characteristics preferred
Experience with value selling paradigm is a plus
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
