About Our Client
I'm partnered with the CFO at an industry leading, global manufacturer, and the fastest growing company in their space This client helps create various products in the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, and machining industries and are experiencing massive growth. With this growth, they are now looking to bring on an Accounting Manager to join their team.
Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible with owning various accounting functions including month-end, audit requests, sales and used tax, and more In addition, you will also receive mentorship and development from the team, and gain exposure to the finance side by assisting in the forecasting and budgeting process.
Job Description
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide to management for strategic decision-making.Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.Implement and manage cost accounting systems to monitor and control manufacturing costs.Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-saving measures.Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and inventory valuation.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.Partner with senior management to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives.Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
