We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will contribute to the team by managing and processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and handling customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records for customer credit
• Handle customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions as required
• Assist in managing an automated document management system
• Enter supplier invoices into the ERP system and conduct necessary research on purchase order variances
• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices, statements, and payments
• Contribute to special projects as required
• Use the Epicor system for data entry and other tasks
• Process a high volume of invoices daily.• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complexities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
