Areas you will Impact

  • Monitor and manage Azure networking services including Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, and Azure Firewall.
  • Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher for network performance and security monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain security controls within Azure, including Security Center, Azure Policy, and DDoS Protection.
  • Manage identity and access using Microsoft Entra ID and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
  • Configure and manage Azure VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute for secure connections.
  • Oversee load balancing and content management using Azure Application Gateway and Azure Front Door.
  • Ensure secure transmission of sensitive data over networks.
  • Manage Azure DNS zones and records.
  • Maintain and oversee Azure Communication Services for VOIP systems.
  • Provide second-tier support for external users and first-tier support for internal users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues for Azure environments and on-premises hybrid setups.
  • Identify and resolve network bottlenecks and outages.
  • Optimize network configurations for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Key Skills and Experiences

  • Proficiency with Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall.
  • Experience with Azure monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and practices in Azure, including the use of Azure Security Center and Azure Policy.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, DNS, VOIP, and VPN technologies.
  • Ability to write and debug scripts using PowerShell or Azure CLI.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Creative thinking in network planning and optimization.
  • Experience in providing support for external and internal users.
  • Strong communication skills for effective troubleshooting and user interaction.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS and GDPR.
  • Ability to manage and optimize Azure cost management and performance tuning.
