The Amazon Search Analyst role will be responsible for being the primary contact for the execution and analysis of Mars Petcare search campaigns on Amazon.  

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience directly managing retail search campaigns; Amazon experience preferred

  • Experience optimizing with AI support from ad management software (Kenshoo, Pacvue, etc.) 

  • Experience building campaigns in the Amazon Ad Console

  • Budget ownership and management

  • Strong analytical background with experience applying data driven insights to strategy decisions

  • Marketing agency experience preferred

  • Pet industry knowledge preferred

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Campaign Setup: This person will be responsible for building our campaigns with custom ad group and ASIN-level targeting. 

  • Operational Control: This person will be responsible for effective budget management across campaigns, brands, and time periods to deliver on incremental sales targets. 

  • Campaign Optimization: This role will require ongoing campaign optimization and buying decisions to not only maximize awareness, but also reflect business priorities. This will include a meaningful degree of A/B testing

  • Impact Measurement: This role will be tasked with measuring and analyzing campaign performance against relevant KPI’s, using data to provide actionable insights on what they’ve found, what it means, and what we should do going forward. 

  • Presentation Skills: Comfort making presentations with small-to-medium sized audiences, are essential and will often be a part of this person’s workload. 

  • Technology & Data Capabilities: Strong analytics to turn insights into action, leveraging multiple data sources.  Secondary contributor to analytic tool building
