Job Title: Shuttle Bus Driver

Department: Front Desk

Supervisor: Front Office Manager/Guest Service Manager and GMSummary:

Drives hotel shuttle to transport hotel guests between hotel and airport. Key duties include:

Drives vehicle between hotel and airport according to assigned schedule. Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle. Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip. Keeps in constant communication with hotel front desk by radio/cell phone to receive pick-up and drop-off assignments. Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers. Key Job Requirements:

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

A valid driver’s license is required and clear driving record.
