As the Conference Services Manager, your mission is to ensure every detail of each conference, event, or golf tournament is expertly executed. You're the main liaison with clients and Resort department heads, managing everything from food and beverage operations to rooming lists and décor requirements. The secret to your success lies in your ability to build long-term relationships with clients, leading to repeat business and new opportunities.What You'll Do

  • Prepare group resumes and review all details in weekly Staff Meetings.
  • Establish and maintain our resort's marketplace position within social and corporate communities.
  • Ensure all site inspections and client visits are successful by planning carefully and communicating accurate details in advance to all departments.
  • Generate high revenue yielding business for all contracted rooms, function space, and catered events.
  • Ensure all current and future client accounts are flawlessly serviced in accordance with the Resort's luxury standards.
  • Maintain excellent communication with banquet managers for all related functions.
  • Participate in all regular and operational meetings as required. What We're Looking For
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in catering sales or conference services, preferably in a convention Resort/Hotel.
    • A college degree and strong computer knowledge.
    • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
    • Flexible work hours to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
    • Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance and presentation. Why PGA National Resort?
