Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Assumes responsibility for all HR front desk reception duties: Greets employees and visitors, refers to resources as necessary. Responds to incoming telephone calls within five rings and either assists caller or transfers call to appropriate individual. Responds appropriately to requests for information from applicants, employees, and community members. Assists with correspondence as assigned. Performs various duties to support the Talent Acquisition Team and applicants.



Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:  High school diploma or equivalent required. 

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:  None required.

SKILLS: 

  • Reception and clerical skills required
  • Demonstrated proper telephone etiquette and positive interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills and effective communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to deal with multiple projects and duties
  • Keyboarding, data entry, and alpha/numeric filing skills
  • Ability to use standard office equipment including multi-line telephone, computer, photocopier, and fax machine
  • Solid computer skills with ability to learn new software programs; knowledgeable in Microsoft Office a plus.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of information
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

EXPERIENCE:  One year reception and clerical experience. Human Resources healthcare setting preferred. 

NATURE OF SUPERVISION:

-Responsible to:  Supervisor of Talent Acquisition and manager of Talent Acquisition.

 ENVIRONMENT:

Works in clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment.  Working hours are varied, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Requires the ability to speak clearly and listen attentively, and develop and communicate written materials. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time, as well as standing, stooping, stretching and lifting (up to 50 pounds) involved in filing duties.
