Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business profitability and recommend portfolio optimization strategies
  • Design dashboards and key monitoring exhibits to track portfolio metrics and execute strategic initiatives
  • Apply actuarial methodologies to solve complex business problems across Property and Casualty insurance products
  • Price large commercial property accounts using various actuarial pricing methods
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to formulate and support business strategies
  • Develop innovative solutions independently and contribute to team projects
  • Build and enhance tools and models to improve business processes
  • Mentor and provide training to junior analysts
  • Lead and manage large-scale projects involving multiple disciplines

Qualifications:

  • ACAS/FCAS designation
  • 5-10 years of actuarial experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in Property Pricing, ideally with Binding Authority experience
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Programming knowledge (e.g., VBA, SQL, Python, Tableau) preferred
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing large-scale projects is a plus
