Our Sturtevant, WI location is part of our Meat Division and creates dry seasoning blends for meat and snacks items that spice up the life of Kerry customers. What You'll Do

The typical hiring range for this role is $24.50 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements). 

 

  • Ability to follow all Safety SOPs and GMP requirements.
  •  Primary duties will be pulling and staging of raw materials for production.
  • Ability to accurately read and operate a scale.
  •  Ability to be authorized as a Bendi forklift operator.
  • Adhere to all allergen control and sanitation SOPs.
  •  Job will require ability to safely lift/carry 50 lb bags, boxes, totes repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • The right candidate will be able to accurately perform transactions in SAP. Other duties as required. 
What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe
  • Organizational & excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job. 
  • Basic computer experience. 
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions. 
  • Previous manufacturing and blending operation experience preferred. 
  • Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment preferred. 
  • Previous experience with scanners/RF guns preferred. 
  • Working Conditions: 
  • Food manufacturing plant 
  • Warehouse environment 
  • Physical Requirements: 
  • Ability kneel, bend, squat, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.     
  • Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments. Environment may be dust filled at times 
  • Ability to lift continuously. 
  • Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule. 
  • Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day. 
  • Ability to continuously stand/walk up to 12 hours. 
  • Ability to climb stairs or ladder.
