Our client is seeking a NPI Engineering Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience trailing materials and maintaining the various NPI core functions to a high standard which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: NPI Engineering Technician (6-Month Contract)

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Pay Range: $40.00 Hourly

What’s the Job?

• Will be responsible for preparing materials and tools for performing NPI builds, frequently trailing new materials and maintaining the various NPI core functions to a high standard.

• Will have the capacity to be able to provide constructive feedback, define/iterate standard work, and suggest process improvements.

• Will support field investigations, instrumented/non-Plan of Record builds, and unique projects in support of our cross-functional teams.

• Experience with hand tools, machine tools, and use of semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment is necessary. Significant experience (1) or more - electrical, automotive, energy and/or mechanical areas a plus

• Provide support to engineers in the development, fabrication, and optimization of electromechanical manufacturing equipment. Assist in troubleshooting equipment or process issues and implementing improvements.

What’s Needed?

• Associates or Bachelors Degree

• 3+ years experience in NPI or Engineering/Support in Manufacturing environment

• Experience in varying degrees (Basic-Complex) of Electro-Mechanical Assembly work and be able to work independently once a task is assigned.

• Experience during all phases of Product Introduction (Launch and Sustaining)
