Status: Part-time / Hourly, Seasonal   Summary:
Hard Rock Stadium & the Miami Dolphins are seeking skilled, motivated, and reliable individuals to fill the part time position of Event Activation Team Member. Under the direct supervision of the Entertainment & Events Department, the Event Activation Team Member position will assist in the overall execution of Dolphins/Foundation game day activations and other events in-market and at Hard Rock Stadium throughout the year. Throughout the year, there will be various development opportunities such as: virtual one-on-ones, newsletters, and networking opportunities for team members. Game days will break down into two teams of Raffle Refs and Blitz Team.   Location: This is a part-time/hourly position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Miami Dolphins game day activations and support different fan experiences around Hard Rock Stadium. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, being apart of:
    • Blitz Team
      • Arrive early on game days to set up pre-game activation and tailgate spaces around Hard Rock Stadium.
      • Oversee, operate and breakdown the Miami Dolphins âGrand Plazaâ activations on game days, including but not limited to partnership activations, photo opportunities, youth football activities, and Dolphins brand elements.
    • Raffle Refs
      • Assist with in-game fundraising activities for the Miami Dolphins Foundation, including 50/50 Raffles and Garage Sales as scheduled.
      • Approach fans pre-game and in-game to explain the details of the 50/50 raffle program and sell raffle tickets â all while communicating information about Miami Dolphins Foundationâs mission, core programs, and fundraising platforms.
  • Work ALL Miami Dolphins home games for the 2024 season, including preseason: minimum of 7 hours/game
  • Provide high-quality customer service interaction with guests to enhance the fan experience throughout game day.
  • Opportunity to work other events throughout the year including Miami Dolphins Training Camp, Dolphins Challenge Cancer, Miami Open, and the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. Min. of 4 hours/event.

Qualifications:
  • Must commit to ENTIRE Miami Dolphins home schedule and potential home playoff games.
  • Must commit to minimum of 2 public Miami Dolphins Training Camp days.
  • Accurately handle the sale and distribution of 50/50 tickets, following program requirements.
  • Must have a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • A professional demeanor with the ability to interact with fans & front office staff and conduct themselves accordingly.
  • Flexible with tasks assigned for game day.
  • Maintains integrity and professionalism while representing the organization.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Strong sales skills a plus.
  • Ability to stand and move around outdoors for long periods of time.
  • Capable of moving/lifting up to 50 lbs.
