Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Security Operations Intern in the WMA for large security programs in support of the intelligence community. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the operations management team overseeing the programs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support to operations team with projects and programs, especially with seeking and obtaining data

Prepares and provides high-quality reports to program team on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.  

Assist with project coordination, to include assisting with coordination of travel, scheduling, and coordinating logistical support.

Oversee and assist with employee onboarding, scheduling, time-cards, and all other inquiries

Facilitate a culture of continuous process improvement among team, providing resources and collaborating to implement processes that are streamlined and compliant.

Accountable for day-to-day programmatic and administrative tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

Strong customer service skills are required and the ability to work closely with program team and senior-level personnel

Organized, meticulous, and analytical

Experience with short and long-term project execution

Must be able to work effectively under stress and pressure

Ability to manage workloads effectively and prioritize tasks based on considerations of safety and mission importance

Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Graduated with or currently obtaining degree in Criminology, Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Intelligence Studies, International Security, or similar areas of study is highly preferred.

0-1 years of work experience in a role requiring administrative skills

Willing to travel to corporate offices 2-3 times a month
